Community Catalysts began when we saw families in need of affordable homes, and we decided to do something about it.
2017
A catalyst is formed
Community Catalysts was formed when a small group of individuals wanted to love and serve people, and chose housing as the vehicle to do that.
2020
A development company is born
Community Catalysts Development Company, a nonprofit whose sole purpose is to develop attainable housing, was created.
2023
A county comes together
Housing Catalysts launches, bringing together voices across Livingston County to advance attainable housing solutions.
2026
Bringing back starter homes
With four separate housing developments now completed, Community Catalysts launches Bethel Homes, Livingston County's first CLT designed to bring back “starter homes” to Livingston County.
