Thanks to a wonderful team of volunteers from Venture Church, our first Demo Day was a crazy, great success! I can't say thank you enough to Gil, Bria, Brooke, Deb, Maureen, Zach, and Jesse (not pictured above) for all of the work they did for us on Saturday! They removed ALL the carpet from the floor and walls (yes, that was a real thing), cleaned out the dirt floor garage and Michigan basement, removed drop ceilings, took barn wood off of the walls in one room and carefully preserved it to be re-used, and carried everything out to the dumpster - achieving our goal of filling the dumpster.
It is such a joy to serve shoulder to shoulder with people who want to help others in their community. Thank you Venture Church and these 7 hard-working volunteers for getting us another step closer to getting our building in downtown Howell rehabbed!
